| Teton Dam Failure - View NNW of Teton dam site near the position where Mrs. Olson took her photos. Photo taken August 2001. All that remains of the original dam is the pyramid-shaped hill. The failure occurred on the left (northwest) side of the hill, the cut on the right side was made by engineers to study the internal character of the rock material that made up the dam. Photo by A.
